Hi everyone,

As you can see the FOSSMeet 2010 site is up and running.

We are working on restoring the archives of the previous FOSSMeet websites and hope to post the links to them as soon as possible.

After this is done, this site will see a lot of changes and a new look. We look forward to your suggestions for improvement of the site.

Moreover, FOSSMeet is not only an event to be organised by a single institution like NIT Calicut, it's a community effort to popularise free and open source software. Please register and use these forums to discuss various things that concern with FOSSMeet and FOSS in general to enhance the free software community.

So, what are you waiting for? Register yourself and fire your ideas!

Give links in "Events" page

Fossmeet will be identified by the events , talks and workshops it has. So i think it will be better if we give short notes on what the speakers are going to take and who are these speakers ,,their contributions to these fields..and if they need any prerequisite for the talk like if you wanna come some stuff installed for the workshops etc..Hurry up guys ..only a week ahead

Microblog updates in profile page

Can the microblog updates be added to profile page?

There should be some plugins for doing it already, if not we can use yahoo pipes.

I know my rights; I want my phone call!
What use is a phone call, if you are unable to speak?

I would like to suggest that we should have a module integrating the microblogging sites like twitter or identi.ca onto the site.

The original twitter module for Drupal doesn't seem to be supported by our host. Will find a workaround soon.
