FOSS Huts @ NITC - share your ideas and expectations - Sun 17th Jan 2010 9 pm IST
A FOSS Hut is an area dedicated to a specific focus area in FOSS, be it a project like KDE, community like SMC, user groups, special interest groups like mappers or start ups depending on FOSS.
The agenda for the meeting is,
1. Understand the idea behind FOSS Huts
2. What are the possibilities around FOSS Huts?
3. What are the requirements from an organizing perspective?
4. What incentives can we provide to more people to get involved?
5. Finalize the invitation text for projects, communities, special interest groups (sig), lugs, start ups ...
After this meeting every one should have a clear idea as to what a
FOSS Hut is, what it can provide to a community/project/sig/lug/start up,
how can it help a student/potential contributor, what is expected
from organizers, how to volunteer for a hut ...
Also what are the incentives for volunteers? Free T shirts, no entry fee...? What else can we think?
Time: Sunday 9pm IST.

IRC meeting 2
Guys we have mid term exams next week starting from tuesday. I don't think the meeting would be successful without participation of core team from NITC campus. So please think about changing the date of meeting.
