FOSSMeet is an attempt to popularize Free and Open Source Softawre in Engineering colleges. It started as FossMeet @ NITC in 2005, which was a single day event. It has been conducted at NIT Calicut for the past four years now. During this period, it has grown in to one of the biggest Free Software conferences in India.
